We provide multidiscipline engineering and project management services and have around 450 consultants contracted to our customers. For our client we are looking to recruit an experienced & highly skilled Engineering Manager. Main tasks & objectives: - Advanced structural design work and analyses in construction and development projects (concrete and steel or steel) - Development of internal tools for analyses, reports and documents - Guidance of junior engineers in technical issues You should have competence and experience in at least two of these areas: - Design of concrete and/or steel structures, according to relevant codes and regulations - FEM analyses (preferably dynamic / non-linear analyses using SESAM) - Hydrodynamics - Geotechnics - Marine operations Desired qualifications - PhD/M.Sc. (“Sivilingeniør”) has a broad background with good references in the offshore sector (wind or oil & gas) - You need to have a high level of selfmotivation and be independent - The right candidate likes taking on tough technical challenges We offer: The position may become permanent and following the contract hire period the right person may be offered permanent employment, either with our client or with Manpower Professional Engineering.
