Labour Market Programs
The various Manpower Jobbstart programs are based on the concept of helping people who are out of work at present to rejoin the labour market. We adapt our working method and methodology according to the needs of the individual in order to meet the variety of needs people have. Implementation of the programme is planned in consultation with the individual participants. Our labour market programmes are tailored to the individual and the backgrounds and criteria of each participant are taken into account.
The coaching is divided into three elements: seminars/groupwork, group coaching and one-on-one coaching. The distribution between these three elements may vary widely. All exercises which form part of the coaching are permeated by positive reinforcement and a coaching approach at both group and individual level. The exercises and program content aim to identify opportunities and overcome barriers experienced by participants.
Some of the areas we look at during our group work and seminar include employment and recruitment processes, CVs and covering letters with practical exercises, study visits to places of work, issues relating to employment law and study and vocational guidance.
Job coaches and skills brokers work on Manpower Jobbstart labour market programs. Job coaches work intensively with participants as per the method described above, while skills brokers work with participants and employers to match one with the other and help participants to find their next job.
