At Manpower, you can work full-time or part-time—depending on your preferences and current situation. You start by submitting an application to become a consultant with us, either by applying for one of our open positions or by creating an account and uploading your CV. After that, you’ll go through a recruitment process similar to any other company, where we review your previous experience. Some clients may require background checks or additional testing.

Once hired, you’ll be assigned a personal consultant manager who supports you throughout your employment—both in your current assignment and in planning your future career. You’ll work on-site at one of our client companies, and depending on the agreement, either the client or Manpower will manage your day-to-day work.

If an assignment ends early or is canceled, it’s our responsibility to find a new one that suits you. If you’re employed full-time, you’ll receive a guaranteed salary even on days without an active assignment. You report your hours to us, and we handle all employer responsibilities—this includes paying your salary and managing insurance and benefits. Manpower is an authorized staffing and recruitment agency, and we are covered by collective agreements, so you can always feel secure as an employee with us

What does it mean to be a consultant?

As a consultant, you will be employed by Manpower but work on an assignment with one of our customers. It can be short or long assignments. You receive an hourly wage and have a guaranteed wage if you are left without an assignment. We have a collective agreement, which means that you can feel secure in your employment with us.
