As a Solution Architect at ICOMP you will work with the design and implementation of a robust and scalable IT solutions, to meet the business demands of today and tomorrow. Together with the architecture team you will set the standards and design patterns to form our IT landscape for years to come. You will support projects and other change initiatives with solution designs and technical expertise.
Furthermore you will:
Shape ideas into solution architectures by considering non-functional aspects such as maintainability, scalability, usability, performance, security and time-to-market for new functionality
Documenting and communicating solution architectures with stakeholders and lead the technical implementation
Proactively work with improvements together with key stakeholders
Capturing, developing and documenting reusable design patterns to streamline development activities and to secure consistency over time
Keeping up-to-date with market trends and advice on opportunities for how new IT technology can support our business

We create substantial cost and quality benefits for IKEA in our development and trade of raw materials, components and fittings. IKEA Components is part of the IKEA group and shares the IKEA vision and values. Our business is global and we are 1500 employees based in Sweden, Slovakia and China. Through co-operation with IKEA Purchasing Offices we are in addition represented at several other sites around the world.
