The Global Product Support Manager´s responsibility is to ensure a working support structure in the area to enable and execute efficient product support, training, implementing and harmonize processes and procedures.

It´s a hands-on role where you will support and promote Mining Wear Lining and Screening media (WL&S) products and services. You will train colleagues as well as customers and support the market area from a technical and commercial perspective. This includes support at customer visits to supervise and follow up product installations and inspections.
You will also be responsible for implementing and to support the Product Line strategy and to support and maintain a local market plan in conjunction with, and committed by, the sales organization and Regional Support Manager. Additionally, you are responsible for identifying local and regional needs in cooperation with the sales organization.
You will be part of the Product Line structure and report to Global Business Support Manager, Mining Screening Solutions in Mining Consumables business line.
* Secure technical and commercial WL&S competence in the region
* Provide global technical support to the WL&S, including product selection, warranty definition and to sort out technical doubts
* Identify new business opportunities
* Promote and implement WL&S product standards
* Supervise and follow up product installations on site
* Support marketing of the products, using sales concepts and marketing material
You have a strong technical knowledge and understanding of customer needs and requirements and the ability to translate this into business opportunities. You can drive and manage projects with complexity and several interfaces. You have a technical understanding and the ability to translate technical requirements into a commercial concept.
You are a practical, hands-on person who likes to work with troubleshooting. Furthermore, we think you are analytical and organized, self-directed and creative. You have the ability to work in teams and in a multi-cultural and multi-language atmosphere. You have a strength in developing and maintaining strong trusting relationships and networks.
You have a degree in engineering with at least five years of experience from related products or similar. It is a plus if you have experience from screening and lining application. You also have experience in project management and from technical support roles.
You are fluent in both written and verbal English and you must be able to travel globally on a regular basis.
