Senior Performance Controller Offshore
We are now looking for a permanent Senior Performance Controller Offshore, the role will be based in the Malmo office.

The nature of the role is to lead the performance management of the offshore wind business within EC&R, provide insight and challenge and drive performance excellence to maximise business value.
Act as a finance business partner for internal and external stakeholders.


Main Responsibilities

Managing the performance of Offshore Wind activities in the Nordic region (Sweden & Denmark) including analysis of the financial and operational business
Act as financial business partner for Offshore management to identify best in class solutions and safeguard a successful development of the business
Act as key financial contact to Joint Venture partner, represent finance at JV Board meetings, present financial results, forecast and plans, supervise annual account process.
Responsible for business planning (mid-term-planning, forecast)
Supporting standard reporting process of financial and operational KPIs
Drive the development and continuous improvement of key finance processes
Managing an international business area with internal and external stakeholders based across Europe
Liaising with internal counterparties within EC&R and E.ON group (legal, tax, accounting, finance, risk management, operational teams)
Development and continuous improvement of planning and controlling tools for financial and operational KPIs
Main responsibility area is to work with the business to make recommendations and prepare basis for decision taking for business steering. This includes own responsibility to add value within the offshore wind finance processes. Also includes own responsibility on compliance standards and ensuring accurate financial information for final sign off of accounts. The role includes responsibility to lead on process improvements and drive performance initiatives within the Offshore business.
Responsible for budget monitoring for offshore wind business in Sweden and Denmark including KPI reporting to steer and monitor business budgets, including optimization process.
Key task is to influence (i) BU Management, (ii) operational business on optimising financial performance of the whole value chain.
Key internal stakeholders are the development, construction and operational businesses within Offshore Wind. Data provided and recommendations made are key for business steering.
Engage with and influence other internal stakeholders (e.g. legal, tax, accounting).
Relationships with external stakeholders include managing joint venture shareholder meetings, and engaging with joint venture partners and local external auditors.


A relevant professional qualification.
A university degree or equivalent in Economics, Finance or Business Administration.
Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and information and present it in a clear and logical format.
Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills to establish and nurture effective working relationships.
High level of self-organisation, personal drive, energy and flexibility.
Familiarity with IFRS, SAP FI/CO and MS Office.
Ability to work successfully across different countries and cultures.
Willing and able to undertake international business travel.


Deep understanding of the Offshore Wind market and E.ON’s development and construction projects, and operational assets.
Project controlling capabilities including challenging the business and making recommendations for decision taking.
Experience of the mid-term planning process and leading the process with specific country focus within Offshore Wind.
