The Media Strategy team are strongly business minded, ensuring that our marketing investments are deployed effectively across all our media channels. Deeply committed to data driven decision-making in media planning, performance marketing and programmatic buying. As part of the team, you are responsible for planning paid media centrally as well as across markets. The role will serve as an omni-channel media-buying expert with a deep understanding of both online and digital marketing channels.

The position gives you the opportunity to set the Media Strategy for Volvo Cars. Through allocating principles, monitoring and following up the investment costs and performance across channels - you will shape our story from the very first chapter! We are seeking a committed and passionate colleague who can determine the best media mix across our marketing and communication plan, to get the ROI and business output that we desire.

We are a flat organisation with a Go-Get-Attitude, and we act as a strong team to get things done to enable the business to be successful. We work with speed and engagement in a collaborative manner. You will primarily be supporting the Swedish organization but be part of the Global Marketing & Brand Team. You will interact with a lot of different stakeholders and by building credibility you can make real impact.

* University degree in business management, digital marketing or equivalent education

* 5+ years track record of optimize larger paid media marketing budget - across channels and markets to meet performance goals and drive brand performance

* Broad and comprehensive understanding of setting media strategy plans and activities
* Analytical skills and capability to make data driven decisions, see the implications of evolving technologies as media planning, media buying, programmatic and ad tech across channels
* As part of a cross-functional and international team, it is of essence that your English skills are impeccable, both written and verbal.  

* Knowledge within website analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Heap, Amplitude, Web Trends) and/or media planning and measurement tools (e.g. GfK MRI, MOAT, Nielsen IMS) are highly beneficial
