The role is responsible for developing and growing our brand awareness. This is accomplished by establishing key partnerships, coordinating industry events, distributing branded collateral, actively monitoring our online reputation, and partnering closely with our senior management consultants.
Writing & Content Development (Required)
Be responsible for a wide range of writing and editing projects for various channels, including news releases, social media, website, trade shows, email content and a variety of other communications projects.
Create and coordinate various materials for print and digital collateral.
Assist in the development of sales material and presentations across established and emerging projects and services.
Work with the HR team to align, develop and execute engaging internal communications and collateral to achieve a coordinated inside/outside look and feel.
Social Media Coordination (Required)
Manage updates to our website in WordPress.
Provide community management for all social media accounts: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.
Content writing for posts across all social media platforms.
Create social media campaigns using social media strategy.
Explore and identify new social networks to reach our target customers.
Graphic Design & Photography/Videography (Preferred)
Participate in the development of brand or company-specific graphics (logos, labels, etc.).
Conduct photo or video projects, or work through third-party vendors to complete projects.
Acts as production assistant on Photoshops & video shoots to help create Arcadia content.
Market Analysis & Misc. (Preferred)
Manage and update search database
Conduct market research and queries
Serve as a representative of the brand to external audiences—communicating with customers, influencers, partners, and vendors; providing event support, including some travel
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Knowledge of marketing & communications principles and social media strategy
Knowledge of basic social media functions: hashtags, sharing posts, retweets, favorites, pinning, tagging, and influencers.
Experience with social media content writing with the ability to master the brand voice specific to each piece.
Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite—enough to have the correct vocabulary to communicate with creative teams
Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Ability to manage a wide variety of projects simultaneously while executing against defined timelines
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Self-starter who can work in a fast-paced environment

Education & Experience
Degree in Journalism, Marketing, Business or related discipline.
3-5 years’ experience in a direct marketing or communications role.
