Air Charter Service are the number one charter broker and we currently have an exciting new opportunity for a detail orientated and driven Financial Controller to join the team in Frankfurt to oversee ACS Germany and Time Critical Services offices.

Job Description

Air Charter Service are looking for a Financial Controller to join the business and take responsibility for the financial management of the groups companies within Germany. Working with both local management and head office finance to protect the assets of the company, duties will include but are not limited too:

• Operation and improvement of internal financial controls
• Financial reporting to local and group management
• Sales and purchase ledger management
• Balance sheet reconciliations and control
• Credit control and cashflow optimization
• Working closely with the outsourced payroll team and oversee operations
• Intercompany transactions and reconciliation
• Local tax compliance (working with group tax manager)
• Overseeing work of 2 employees in multiple locations

Qualifications

• Completed or in later stages of professional accountancy qualification
• Previous experience of financial management at company level
• Experience in German tax compliance - desired
• Strong excel skills and ability to deal with data proficiently and accurately
• Strong balance sheet focus
• English as a second language
